Our next Dinner Club will be held on Saturday, March 20th!!
Please join us for an evening of great food and fun with old neighbors and new neighbors. Our theme is "Your Favorite Recipe" night. What better to share with our friends than the dish we do best?? The evening will start at 6pm for cocktails and appetizers at the home of Tim and Victoria Lovely. 7:30pm will be dinner at your host home. Please RSVP as soon as possible to Victoria Lovely at dinnerclub@glencoenewcomersandneighbors.com and let us know what your favorite recipe is (so we make sure we don't have too much of one thing) or even what category (appetizer, main dish, salad, etc.) you would be willing to bring. We will do our best to accommodate preferences. Also, we are looking for families who might open their homes for dinner, so please let us know if you would like to host, too! We look forward to a festive evening of "favorites!" We look forward to seeing you there!
Dinner Club is one of the favorite activities of many GNN members, as it is a great way to hang out, enjoy a great meal and really get to know new friends and neighbors. The past few years have seen a variety of different menus ranging from Italian Night to Mexican Night to Summer Grill Night.
Here is how it works: Volunteer families host three to four couples in there home. Everone that attends brings one or two dishes that correspond to the chosen theme. For example, on Italian night participants might be assigned a pasta, salad or meat dish. After dinner, everyone meets up at a dessert house.
